01
The Big Idea
Shamba.Online helps farmers run their shamba from a phone: what's planted where, what needs doing this week and how each crop is performing.
02
The Problem
Most small farms run on memory and notebooks. Tasks get missed, workers aren't sure what's next, and there's little record of yields, inputs or costs to learn from season to season.
03
The Opportunity
Smallholder and commercial farmers, farm managers and cooperatives who want better records without complicated agri-software.
04
How It Works
Map fields and crops, schedule tasks like planting, spraying and harvest, assign them to workers, and log inputs and yields. Over time the farm builds its own history of what works.
05
What's Already Done
A first version is live at shamba.online as a farm task manager and crop tracker.
06
What's Needed
Developers, agronomy input, and farms or cooperatives willing to test it and shape what comes next.
